Ali Bayat, DMD

Dr. Ali Bayat - Pediatric Dentist & Orthodontics in Garland, TX

Dr. Bayat received his dental degree from University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and completed a one-year training in general practice residency in Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In 2011, Dr. Bayat obtained his certificate in pediatric dentistry from prestigious Yale University New Haven Hospital. During his training he had the opportunity to work with medically compromised patients and those with special needs. He is trained in all aspects of pediatric dentistry, including general anesthesia, sedation and behavior management. He has been practicing in Dallas area since graduation.

His extensive experience in the field, and past training has made him a knowledgeable practitioner. He stays up to date with the most recent research and literature to provide the best care possible for his patients.

Dr. Bayat is married to his best friend, Dr. Ehsani. Other than their pure passion of creating perfect smiles and promoting healthy oral habits, they spend their free time with family and friends. They both like to cook, exercise and travel.

Sara Ehsani, DDS

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Ehsani completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at UCLA, followed by a pediatric dental residency at the University of Connecticut, where she graduated as Chief resident. She has won numerous awards in the field of dentistry, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Resident’s Recognition Award.

Dr. Ehsani has a strong passion for serving others and has committed much of her time contributing to the society with the ultimate goal of improving oral health. She has had extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dental care, including caring for infants and patients with special needs. She has contributed a significant amount of time to patient care, education, research, and community service. She is committed to staying current with the latest in technology in order to provide the greatest health benefits to patients. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially building long-term relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr. Ehsani is also an innovative researcher. One of her greatest accomplishments is publishing eleven articles in various topics, including Laser, Pediatrics, Implants, Dental materials, and radiology. She presented her research, in oral and poster formats, at several dental conferences. Her current research focuses on oral health literacy.

Nikki Shakourian, DMD, MS

Orthodontist

Dr. Shakourian grew up in Boston and completed her undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Boston University. She received her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shakourian then moved to Michigan to start her Orthodontic Residency at University of Detroit Mercy.

Dr. Shakourian's personal philosophy is to treat her patients with honesty, compassion, transparency, and the highest standard of care.

For Dr. Shakourian, the most rewarding part of being an orthodontist - aside from creating beautiful smiles - is the friendships she makes during the course of treatment.

When Dr. Shakourian is not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga, painting and has a great passion for art.
